Ingredients:
200g vermicelli noodles
1 lb shrimp
4-5 slices deli ham
4 eggs, beaten
1 yellow onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
4 tbsp curry powder
2 tbsp tumeric powder
1 tbsp chinese five spice
1 tsp chilli powder
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
To make:
In a bowl, add hot water to vermicelli to soften for 5 mins. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook vermicelli for 5 mins. Drain and cool in ice bath, set aside.
Season eggs well with salt and pepper, cook to under-done, set aside. Saute shrimps and ham, set aside. Next, cook onions and bell peppers for 5 to 6 mins. Add everything including vermicelli to wok. Turn heat to high, add in curry powder, five spice, chilli powder, tumeric and soy. Now, it’s time to test or practice your stir-frying skills! Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bonappetit.
